South Korean arrested on charges of using fake visa, swindling money in his country

SA KAEO, Nov 27 — Thai immigration police Saturday apprehended a South Korean national at the Thai-Cambodian border on charges of using fake visa in entering the country and are preparing to extradite him to his home country to face further charges of defrauding people there, immigration police said.

Kim Dong Su, 52, was arrested shortly before noon at the Thai immigration checkpoint of Aranyaprathet border district while he was applying for permission to enter Cambodia, they said.

He was arrested after immigration police examined his passport and discovered that the Thai visa printed on the travelling document was a forgery.
