Drugs Found after near Fatal Overpass Plunge in Pattaya

Following a single car accident on the overhead bypass in North Pattaya, in which a vehicle fell from the raised roadway into the bushland below, police uncovered the presence of an illegal narcotic in the vehicle wreckage.

Pattaya, the 1st of August 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 5:30pm on Sunday, Lieutenant Colonel Jakkarin Toursuphap (Pattaya Police Investigator) was notified of a potentially fatal car accident near the bypass onramp in North Pattaya. A team of officers were dispatched to the incident to investigate.

Arriving at the scene, officers found the damaged vehicle, a Toyota Yaris, in a patch of bushland underneath the overhead bypass. Reportedly, the two victims of the accident had already been transported to the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.
