Four Nong Ruea policemen axed in illegal gambling row with the military

Four police officers of Nong Rua district police station were transferred today pending an investigation into a row with the military over a raid of an illegal gambling den in the district last week.

As ordered by Pol Lt-Gen Detnarong Suthicharnbancha, commissioner of Region Four Police Bureau, the four police officers namely Pol Col Thanomsit Wongwicharn, the superintendent of Nong Rua district police; Pol Samrith Banthao, the deputy inspector; Pol Sub-Lt Sawet Choodnok and Pol Acting S9ub-Lt Wichien Pimduangsri were reassigned to Region 4 Police Bureau as of today (September 26).
