Big Joke Surrenders: Arrest Warrant Issued for Alleged Money Laundering Conspiracy

At 5:30 PM, on April 2nd, 2024, Thai national media reported that Pol. Gen. Surachate Hakparn surrendered to Thai metropolitan investigative police as an arrest warrant was issued for being an official conspiring to launder money offenses.

Thai deputy police chief ‘Big Joke’ may be suspended over online gambling allegation

Previously, the Thai court issued arrest warrants to three police officers and one civilian regarding the so-called “Minnie” and “BNK Master” gambling network. In the case of Pol. Gen. Surachate, the Thai court issued a summons first. However, the investigative police from the Metropolitan Police Bureau requested a total of 3 summonses before requesting an arrest warrant for Pol. Gen. Surachate.
