Pattaya district chief blames tourist for starting fire in hotel sauna

A full scale emergency was sounded yesterday afternoon as eight fire engines rushed to the Fairtex Sports Club and Hotel in the middle of North Pattaya.

There was a fire in the sauna section of the hotel and smoke was billowing from the second floor. Manager said that firefighters had a difficult time bringing the blaze under control due to there being a lot of wood in the area of the fire.

  1. Same thing happen in october 19, 2009. Investigator say it was showed to be an electrical short, all guest was evacueted and nobody was heart.
