Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha told the Thai-language section of Voice of America Friday that there will not be a “nominee” prime minister after the election in the middle of next year in Thailand.

He said that he intended to wash his hands of politics and to be with his family after his term as the prime minister has ended.
