BANGKOK, 18 February 2016 (NNT) – The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has concluded that a vintage Mercedes-Benz sedan owned by a Supreme Patriarch nominee was imported illegally.

DSI Director General Phaisit Wongmuang gave a press conference on the case involving the classic car with the license plate number Khor Mor 99 owned by Somdet Phra Maha Ratchamangalacharn, the abbot of Pak Nam Phasi Charoen temple in Bangkok, who is currently acting on behalf of the supreme patriarch.
