Royal Thai Embassy in Turkey confirms it is open as usual


Press Release – Royal Thai Embassy, Ankara

There have been reports in press, media and websites that the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara is closed. The Royal Thai Embassy would like to confirm that we are open as usual. Only the consular section has been closed on 8 July 2015 and today for safety of visitors. The consular section will resume its service as soon as the situation around the Embassy returns to normalcy.

The Royal Thai Embassy would like to inform that, apart from the time of protest in certain period, the situation around the Embassy remains peaceful and normal. In this regard, the Embassy wishes to express its appreciation for police and other security officers, as well as authorities concerned of the Turkish Government, for their prompt action and adequate protection for the Embassy since 8 July 2015.
