Kamronwit flies back to Bangkok after release from Japanese prison

BANGKOK, 14 July 2015 (NNT) – Former Bangkok police chief Kamronwit Thoopkrachang has arrived in Thailand on Tuesday afternoon after being released from prison in Japan.

Japanese prosecutors agreed to drop charges against the former police chief after he was arrested for illegal possession of a handgun and ammunition at Narita International Airport last month.
