BANGKOK, 18 July 2015 (NNT) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha has instructed the Ministry of Interior to survey drought-hit areas across the country in another move to step up assistance measures.

According to General Prayut, he is particularly concerned with farmers in the central region where the prolonged dry season remains unabated, whereas other regions have already experienced rainfalls thanks to the successful rain enhancement operations and the arrival of the rainy season.
