Drought recedes in 38 provinces: DDPM

BANGKOK, 19 July 2015 (NNT) – The drought disaster conditions have been lifted at 38 provinces, with only two provinces remaining as drought disaster areas and seven provinces as rain-shortage areas, the DDPM Director-General says.

The Director-General of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) Chatchai Promlert has revealed latest information on the current drought disaster situation, saying that the drought situation at up to 38 provinces has deescalated.
