NCPO approves bill protecting children born through assisted reproductive technology

BANGKOK, 14 August 2014 (NNT) – The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has approved a draft bill on the Protection of Children Born through Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), but without retroactive effects.

Wichien Chawalit, the Permanent Secretary for Social Development and Human Security, revealed that the bill will be submitted to the National Legislative Assembly (NLS) for deliberations.
