Nida Poll shows General Prayuth most favoured to be prime minister

41.3 percent of the 1,259 respondents polled by Nida Poll want General Prayuth Chan-ocha to be the next prime minister.

The opinion poll which was conducted during June 2021 by the National Institute of Development Administration or Nida also showed that 8.50 percent favoured former prime minister Anand Panyarachun followed by 2.38 percent for Dr Suin Pitsuwan, former secretary-general of ASEAN, 1.43 percent for former Bank of Thailand governor M.R. Pridiyathorn Devakula and 1.19 percent for former deputy prime minister Dr Somkid Chatusripitak.
