Soldiers detain former Pheu Thai MP Prasit Chaisrisa on charges of lese-majeste

BANGKOK, 29 May 2014 (NNT) – Former Pheu Thai MP of Surin Province Prasit Chaisrisa has been detained by Army officials for violating Section 112 of the Criminal Code on lese-majeste.

Earlier on May 7th, Mr. Prasit gave a speech at the Imperial Lat Phrao shopping mall showing his intentions to defame His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
