Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra joins ASEAN-Japan Summit

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 9 October 2013 (NNT) – Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Yingluck Shinawatra has attended the 16th ASEAN-Japan Summit which emphasized the collaboration in technology and investment.

Prime Minister Yingluck today attended the 16th ASEAN-Japan Summit at Muzakarah Hall, International Conference Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. Other ASEAN leaders as well as Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe were also present at the summit, which was aimed to review the progress of ASEAN-Japan relations, seek ways to enhance existing collaborations, and strengthen the strategic partnership further.

In this event, Ms. Yingluck congratulated Mr. Abe for his first time attending the summit and praised Japan’s policy on economic revival and its foreign policy related to ASEAN.
