Four kidnapped Thais safe in Nigeria

BANGKOK, Aug 13 – One of the four Thais kidnapped in Nigeria has contacted his employer to inform that they all were safe, but Nigerian police were awaiting the abductors’ demand, the Thai Foreign Ministry spokesman said today.

The four kidnapped Thais have been identified as Panpinij Sommohok, Bussaya Sripanya, Chaiyan Taichompu and a Mr Boontian, whose surname is not known.
