North-bound train service expected to resume today

PHRAE, July 18 – State Railway of Thailand (SRT) north-bound train service is expected to resume operation today at noon after the suspension caused by an express train derailment in Phrae which injured more than 30 passengers yesterday.

Workers have tried to retrieve all seven carriages Wednesday night but only five could be cleared so far as of Thursday morning, said Somdej Yupin, head of Denchai train station.
