PHUKET: Police in Karon today arrested a Spanish couple and charged them with beating up the security guards at their hotel, the Golden Sand Inn in the early hours of this morning (June 4).

Police said the couple, David Antolin Velasco, 35, and Maria Carmen, 33, were sitting on the beach close to the hotel at 4:30 am.
