Coca-Cola returns to Myanmar after 60 years
Coca-Cola Company today inaugurates the bottling plant in Myanmar, which is part of its US$200 million investment planned for the country to create 22,000 jobs over five years.
Muhtar Kent, chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Company, was in Yangon to attend the inauguration ceremony. The plant marks the first time in more than 60 years for Coca-Cola to bottle its products in the country. The bottling plant is locatd in Crystal Springs, Hmawbi Township.
