BANGKOK, April 2 – Thailand’s national flag carrier Thai Airways International (THAI) said it has no plans to expand the operate more of its flights at Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport.
Speaking on Airports of Thailand (AoT)’s recent approval to upgrade Don Mueang Airport to serve all airlines, and not restrict it to only low-cost ones, THAI President Sorajak Kasemsuvan commented that THAI has no plans to operate its flights there, for the number of aircraft it has is already suitable to be operated from one main airport. The thought of operations at both airports might be considered if THAI had more aircraft.
