Migrant workers given 120 more days to renew licenses

BANGKOK, April 9 – Migrant workers applying for extensions of their expired employment licences will be reprieved for another 120 days, the Cabinet decided today.

A government spokesman said the leniency applies to migrant workers from Myanmar, the Lao PDR and Cambodia, and their children below age 15.
