Briton Michael Pio Tzouvanni confirmed dead in Phuket pub fire

BANGKOK, Aug 22 – One of four bodies recovered from last week’s Phuket nightclub fire was identified as a Briton, and the identification of the other three bodies will be known within two days.

Michael Pio Tzouvanni, 24, was identified by dental records and DNA samples from a relative. According to the forensic examination, the victim died due to smoke inhalation in the fire at the Tiger Pub and Discotheque in Phuket.
