Phisanulok hard hit by renewed flooding
PHITSANULOK, Aug 31 – Thailand’s northern province of Phisanulok has been hit by a new round of floods, leading the authorities to tighten security to prevent looting.
Local residents in Bang Rakam district still dealing with an ongoing flood condition had their problems intensified as new floodwaters as high as two metres swept into provincial seat from the overflowing Yom River, flooding a wider expanse of low-lying areas.
