Thai FM rejects allegations Thailand using aircraft, poisonous gas in border clash

BANGKOK, April 23 – Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya will send a protest letter to Cambodia and issue a statement that the Thai army did not use any aircraft to invade Cambodian territory except using helicopters to airlift injured soldiers.

“We protected our sovereignty and our counterattack targeted the Cambodian army base to limit the area of clash. Thai soldiers also did not use poisonous gas as accused by Cambodia,” Mr Kasit said.
