House dissolution by May 10: Thai Deputy Prime Minister Suthep

The House of Representatives will probably be dissolved by May 10 at the latest, with a general election likely on July 1 or 2, Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said on Tuesday.

Mr Suthep denied a report that Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva would dissolve the House on May 3 and call the election on June 26.

He said Mr Abhisit had only said that the House dissolution would come in early May and the election was expected in June or July.
