Over half a million British ex-pat pensioners are now being deprived of their entitlement to annual increases to their state old-age pensions due to new British government regulations with many of these living in Pattaya and throughout Thailand.

Many others are receiving the increases by stating that they are still residing in Britain when they are actually living abroad, however they are committing fraud by doing this and the British government is set to crackdown on these people which could lead to people losing their pensions altogether. British expats met up in August to discuss this matter and to fight for justice. They are now still continuing the fight and hope to get various influential people on their side to publicize the unfair treatment.
