Flood death toll rises to 255 in Thailand

Update (Nov 26): Thailand’s flood-related death toll reaches 255

BANGKOK, Nov 13 — The death toll from the continuing flooding in Thailand has risen to 215, while a senior Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry official said the survey on damage in the agricultural area would be completed within 30 days.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has announced that total death toll in Thailand’s central and northeastern regions soared to 152 as of Friday while 63 others were recorded in the South.

The department said 13 provinces in the central and northestern regions were affected by the floods which began in October.
