Three foreign journalists have been shot during protests in Bangkok, according to Sky sources.
Local journalist Andrew Chant has told Sky News trouble is escalating between the army and Red Shirts in the Thai capital.
“There is an uneasy calm in the area that had the violent protest,” he said.
“The army are trying to reach an intersection of the motorway to seal it off.”
“If they manage that the protesters will be contained. This is the final battle for control of the centre of Bangkok.”
There have been conflicting reports on whether three or four journalists have been shot in the Thai capital.
