Thai govt extends curfew for seven days

BANGKOK – THE Thai authorities have extended a curfew in Bangkok and 24 provinces for seven days because of concern about possible unrest, an army spokesman said on Monday.

‘We have information that there are groups and individuals who still want to create chaos in some areas,’ Sansern Kaewkamnerd told a news conference.
