Disruptive Hi-Lo Gambling Ring Busted in Pattaya

Pattaya police successfully busted a large Hi-Lo gambling ring in South Pattaya on Tuesday. The group had allegedly been gathering in front of rental rooms, disturbing local residents with their illegal activities at all hours of the day and night.

Pattaya, the 27th of April 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 5:00am on Tuesday, police Lieutenant Colonel Jamrat Thongjinda (Pattaya Police Investigator) along with a team of officers and police volunteers preceded to a block of rental rooms in South Pattaya to conduct a raid. Officers had been notified by local residents of the area that an illegal Hi-Lo gambling ring was operating at the building, disturbing residents, particularly through the middle of the night.

The officers arrived at the scene, blocking the entrance to the building, at which point the large group of participants in the illegal gambling activity attempted to escape.
