Thaksin urges people to join UDD rally

Fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra on Saturday posted a message on his Twitter account, calling on people who love democracy and justice and those who think he is being treated cruelly to join the ‘March on March 14’ anti-government campaign of the red-shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD).

“We have to be ready on March 14 if we want democracy, justice and social equality in Thailand,” he said.

He urged his supporters to stick together at this time so the situation in the country would return to normal.

He said the country would progress much further if the ‘terrible’ system in the country was gone.
