The Region 2 Thai Army commander plans to meet his Cambodian counterpart to discuss the ruling handed down by the International Court of Justice for Thailand and Cambodia to withdraw troops from the disputed border area.
Region 2 Army Commander Lieutenant General Thawatchai Samutsakhon said he has been in contact with Chea Mon, commander of Cambodia’s Military Region 4.
Talks are already underway to initiate the next Regional Border Committee meeting.
