US Embassy apologises for error in writing invitation to Independence Day celebration

The US Embassy in Bangkok has apologised a former political science professor for calling him “anti-Thaksin activist” in a formal invitation letter addressed to him to attend the Fourth of July celebration on July 2 at a Bangkok hotel.

Pramote Nakornthab was addressed as Dr Pramote Nakornthab, Anti-Thaksin Activist” on the invitation letter.
