Police were alerted by a concerned citizen and arrived to find the woman, identified only as Kung, already clothed by a passerby. Kung told authorities that after returning from abroad, she had struggled to find stable work and had been living near the hospital. She accused a local gang member named Sombat of abusing her, forcing her to use drugs, and coercing her into prostitution.
Kung said she removed her clothes as a cry for help and insisted she was not under the influence of drugs, even offering to undergo a urine test. She expressed no desire for charity, only seeking a chance to leave the area and find work elsewhere.

Police coordinated with the Provincial Social Development Office to provide Kung with temporary shelter and support. Authorities noted that she had no immediate family available to assist her and made arrangements for her care while further investigating her allegations.
