PATTAYA – A 27-year-old Russian national identified only as Mikhail died early Wednesday after falling from the ninth floor of a Jomtien condominium in what authorities suspect was a drug-related tragedy.

Pattaya police responded to the scene after condominium security reported the incident. Officers found Mikhail’s lifeless body on the ground with severe trauma, covered temporarily with a white sheet pending forensic transfer.

A search of the victim’s room uncovered cannabis and smoking equipment, with no evidence of foul play. Witness accounts painted a disturbing prelude to the fall:
