The assault occurred around 1:36 AM on May 17th, 2025, in Soi Thepprasit 17, where emergency responders discovered the victim bleeding profusely from a split eyebrow and fractured eye socket. According to a condominium security guard who witnessed the events, the conflict began when the tourist, in a drunken state, allegedly provided an incorrect drop-off location, forcing the rider to circle the area unnecessarily. The situation turned physical when the tourist reportedly groped the rider, touching his body and reaching for his crotch. The rider, enraged, retaliated by punching the tourist in the face before fleeing the scene.
