Officials noted that this increased discharge will cause the water level downstream to rise by 60 to 90 centimetres in low-lying areas without protective embankments. The primary focus for emergency response will be these vulnerable communities in provinces such as Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani, and Nonthaburi. The DDPM emphasized that the current flow rate remains below the 3,703 cubic metres per second recorded during the severe 2011 floods.
