Four Israeli Men Arrested at Drug-Fueled Villa Party on Koh Phangan

KOH PHANGAN – Four Israeli nationals were taken into custody during a drug raid at a luxury villa in the Ban Sri Thanu area of Koh Phangan in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The men, who claimed to be soldiers celebrating the end of the Israel-Hamas conflict, were found in possession of illicit substances.

The arrest followed a police response to a noise complaint at approximately 2:40 a.m. Upon searching the premises, officers discovered the four men, aged 26 to 27, attempting to conceal small packets containing 0.59 grams of cocaine and 1.37 grams of powdered ecstasy. The suspects informed authorities they had been partying with 10 to 15 compatriots who had departed the venue following noise complaints.

According to Tourist Police Inspector Pol Lt Col Winit Boonchit, the suspects admitted to purchasing the drugs from other Israeli attendees at the gathering but claimed not to know their identities.

The four men were transported to Koh Phangan Hospital where laboratory tests confirmed the presence of cocaine and methamphetamine in their systems. All suspects remain in custody facing charges related to drug possession and use.
