In a separate development, AirAsia has also proactively canceled its flights to and from Hong Kong, Macau, and Shenzhen on September 23 and 24. The low-cost carrier attributed the decision to the potential significant disruptions caused by the approaching typhoon. AirAsia is urging passengers scheduled to travel to these destinations to check their flight status and explore alternative travel options directly through the AirAsia MOVE application or by visiting the flight status page on its official website at airasia.com/flightstatus. The coordinated cancellations by both airlines highlight the serious impact Typhoon Ragasa is expected to have on regional air travel.
