During the operation, officers discovered four Indian nationals preparing food in an improvised kitchen onboard the vessel. Three of them—aged 20, 29, and 34—admitted to working without permits and confessed to being hired by a compatriot known only as “Mr. R” to cook Indian cuisine for a daily wage of 700 baht each. A fourth man, who possessed a valid work permit, was released without charges.

The suspects were charged under Section 8 of the Royal Decree on the Management of Foreign Workers (2018), which prohibits unauthorized employment of foreigners. They were transferred to Chalong Police Station for further legal proceedings.
