Uzbek National Arrested in Phuket for Alleged Attack on Girlfriend
PHUKET — A 41-year-old Uzbek man has been taken into custody after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and stealing her valuables, including cash, a mobile phone, and a motorcycle, in a violent altercation at a Wichit condominium earlier this week.

Authorities from Wichit Police Station reported that the suspect, identified as Mr. Artur, fled the scene after the alleged attack but was later tracked down to Soi Na Seua, Village 4, where he was apprehended. Police obtained an arrest warrant from Phuket Provincial Court on July 15, leading to his capture and the recovery of the stolen motorcycle.
