PATTAYA — A late-night dining outing turned violent when a group of Korean tourists engaged in a destructive brawl at a popular Pattaya hotpot restaurant, leaving the establishment in disarray and resulting in criminal charges. The chaotic incident, which unfolded around 3:30 a.m. on July 11, 2025, was captured in graphic detail on video, showing plates, glasses, and punches being exchanged in the middle of the eatery.

The clash erupted at a Thai grilled pork and hotpot restaurant on Soi Phettrakul in Naklua, where the group—reportedly friends dining together—suddenly turned on each other in an aggressive confrontation. The viral footage depicts chairs being overturned, glassware shattering, and terrified patrons scrambling to avoid the melee. Pattaya City Police Deputy Superintendent led the response team, detaining four Korean nationals for questioning.

According to the restaurant owner, who accompanied the group to the police station, the altercation caused significant property damage, including broken furniture, tableware, and unpaid bills. After negotiations, the tourists agreed to compensate the establishment in full.

Police charged the individuals with public disorder and brawling, imposing fines before releasing them. While the exact trigger for the fight remains unclear, witnesses confirmed the group had been drinking together before the argument spiraled out of control. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and witness statements to determine if additional charges are warranted.
