Disabled British Tourist Robbed by Companions in Pattaya Hotel
PATTAYA – A 61-year-old British tourist with speech and mobility impairments fell victim to theft after inviting three individuals he met on Pattaya Beach back to his hotel. The incident, reported in the early hours of July 16, 2025, left the man, identified only as Mr. G., robbed of approximately 6,000 baht.

Authorities stated that Mr. G., who uses a wheelchair, had sought companionship from two Thai women and one transgender woman. After bringing them to his hotel in Central Pattaya, he stepped into the shower, expecting to spend time with them afterward. However, upon exiting, he found the trio gone—along with his money.
Distressed by the theft, Mr. G. immediately alerted Pattaya City Police. Deputy Investigator Lt. Aniruj Jeahora documented the case and initiated an investigation, reviewing hotel CCTV footage and gathering evidence. Police confirmed they had obtained a copy of an ID card presented by one of the suspects to hotel staff, providing a crucial lead.

Officers are now working to locate and apprehend the suspects, vowing to prosecute them to the fullest extent of Thai law. The case highlights concerns over the safety of vulnerable tourists in the popular beach destination.
