Pattaya City Police launched an immediate manhunt, tracking the suspect through CCTV footage.

By 4:30 PM the next day, officers cornered Mr. C.J. in Soi Sukhumvit 71, seizing the stolen bag, his motorcycle, the screwdriver, and clothing matching the robbery description. Police reported the suspect attempted to flee but was surrounded in a coordinated takedown.
