Taiwanese National Arrested After Drug-Fueled Rampage in Pattaya Condo

Pattaya – A 22-year-old Taiwanese man faces multiple criminal charges after terrorizing residents at a Jomtien condominium while allegedly under the influence of narcotics, culminating in the discovery of an alarming arsenal of weapons and drugs in his possession.

Taiwanese murder gang fled to Cambodia

Pattaya police and immigration officers rushed to the luxury condominium late Sunday evening following frantic reports of a foreign national wielding a baseball bat and violently striking neighboring units’ doors. Witnesses described scenes of panic as residents barricaded themselves inside their homes during the disturbance.

Authorities apprehended Chen inside his unit alongside a 25-year-old Thai woman identified as Ms. A. A subsequent search revealed 6.56 grams of crystal methamphetamine along with drug consumption paraphernalia. Officers also confiscated eight mobile phones, two live 9mm bullets, nine baseball bats, two metal rods, and two functioning stun guns from the premises.

Investigators uncovered evidence that Chen, who entered Thailand on a student visa, had been living a debauched lifestyle. Social media posts allegedly showed the suspect flaunting drug transactions and sexual encounters with hired companions. Police confirmed the Taiwanese national frequently patronized sex workers and hosted drug-fueled parties in his unit.

During interrogation, Chen admitted to a year-long crystal meth addiction but claimed the baseball bats were for fitness purposes. He insisted the ammunition were harmless souvenirs from a local shooting range. His Thai companion confessed to being hired for sexual services on three separate occasions, during which they consumed drugs together.

Both suspects now face serious charges, with Chen accused of drug possession, unlawful ammunition ownership, and narcotics consumption, while Ms. A faces drug use charges. The pair remain in custody as authorities investigate potential connections to local drug networks. Immigration officials have flagged Chen’s case for possible visa revocation and blacklisting.
