Phuket, Thailand – A 32-year-old Israeli man faces theft charges after allegedly swiping a motorcycle from a Wichit hospital parking lot in broad daylight, only to be tracked down by police days later in a Cherng Talay hotel.

The victim, whose name has been withheld, accidentally left his keys in the ignition on April 21, returning hours later to find his bike missing. After searching the area, he filed a formal complaint with Wichit Police on April 24.

Police reviewed surveillance footage, identifying the suspect as Mr. C., an Israeli national. An arrest warrant was issued on April 29, with officers locating him the next day at a Cherng Talay hotel.

Upon arrest, Mr. C. reportedly confessed to taking the unattended motorcycle. The stolen bike was recovered and returned to its owner on April 30. Mr. C. was taken to Wichit Police Station for processing, where he awaits formal charges.
