Meteorological forecasts indicate that Tropical Storm Trami will likely bring intense rainfall across much of Thailand, with some areas potentially receiving 200-300 mm of rain within a short period. This heavy downpour raises concerns over flash flooding in low-lying and urban areas as well as landslides in mountainous regions.

Trami is expected to generate high waves of up to 2 meters along the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea coastlines, posing a threat to beach areas and small vessels. The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has issued advisories urging residents and tourists to stay away from coastal areas, especially in provinces such as Phuket, Krabi, and Chonburi. Local fishermen and boat operators are advised to avoid going out to sea until conditions stabilize.
The Thai government, in collaboration with the TMD, has issued regular updates and safety alerts to keep residents and tourists informed. Broadcasts are being made on multiple platforms, including social media and local news channels, to raise awareness and help the public prepare for the incoming storm. Local authorities are advising residents to secure their homes, stock up on essential supplies, and avoid unnecessary travel.
