The Ramkhamhaeng station on the Airport Link, between Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi international airport, was temporarily closed this morning after a fire broke out in a shop-house beneath the elevated station.

The fire was reported at about 4.54am and firefighters took under an hour to get it under control. At 6am, Airport Link issued a statement via Facebook explaining that the Ramkhamhaeng station was temporarily closed.
