In an operation led by Customs officers collaborating with the Airport Interdiction Task Force (AITF), a Nigerian national was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on Monday, March 25, 2024. The suspect, arriving on a flight from Doha, Qatar, drew attention due to his suspicious demeanor upon arrival.

Prompted by the suspect’s behavior, authorities conducted a comprehensive examination, revealing a startling discovery. Concealed within the man’s body were sixty-nine pellets of cocaine, totaling a weight of 1,390 grams and estimated to be worth more than 4 million baht.

Following the seizure, the officers duly documented the evidence and transferred custody of the suspect to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Police Station for further legal proceedings.
