Emergency response teams swiftly responded to the incident last night, dispatching an ambulance to the scene. Following a thorough examination, it was confirmed that both the taxi driver and the lone passenger remained unharmed. To ensure safety, traffic police temporarily closed one lane on the side of the road.

According to the taxi driver, who was en route from Samrong to Bang Phli in the right lane, the detached wheel struck the right side of the taxi’s bonnet, causing considerable damage. Luckily, the driver and passenger emerged from the ordeal unscathed.

Despite the incident, the monorail’s Yellow Line continues its normal operations. Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the wheel detachment to implement preventive measures against similar occurrences in the future.
